Lilly, an orphan of the Bristia war, was sent aboard a slave ship. She prayed to God with all her sincerity. At that very moment, a band of pirates attacked the slave ship and rescued her, so she joined the pirates. One day the pirates clashed with the Vespanola fleet, and their ship sank, but she barely survived and was taken to a church. She became obsessed with the belief in 'resurrection', so the church branded her a heretic and exiled her to a remote village. Then one day, a storm and giant waves took the lives of all the villagers. Amid her loss and despair, two mysterious priests appeared before her. They gave her a duty and called her the 'Inquisitor', and that became her new identity.
