Hatir, a former court soldier of Targa, was once critically wounded to the point of near death, but caught Karin's eye and became her test subject. Though the experiment succeeded like never before, the result fell short of expectations, seen as only a half-success.
Now Hatir follows Karin's orders, feigning loyalty to Targa's Second Prince, and to counterbalance Daneb's power in favor of the Second Prince, he has embedded himself as a spy in the Black Scorpion guard unit of Racel, who is close to her.
